Meet John Copulos

John Copulos has always been a team player and leader, on and off the field. As a former quarterback turned real estate appraiser and business owner, has always embodied leadership. His 37-year career, rich with insights, has been shared to bridge the gap between agents and appraisers in the real estate industry.

Observing a disconnect, John launched "Ask the Appraiser" on social media platforms, creating an open forum for agents to ask questions and learn from the expertise of both him and his fellow ambassador appraisers. Despite initial skepticism, the initiative gained momentum as the value of appraisers' knowledge became apparent.

John's approach is simple and effective, breaking down complex concepts and sharing valuable insights. The "Ask the Appraiser" community has grown to over 50,000 members, with no question deemed insignificant. John invites all to join this journey of continuous learning and growth in the dynamic world of real estate.

There's a reason why Ask The Appraiser has been one of the fastest growing communities out there.

Forging a new category of real estate collaboration that has been overlooked and undervalued far too long.

Ask The Appraiser covers topics from a perspective that has been long overlooked and quarantined from the mainstream real estate equation. ATA is about teaching novices and 50 year veterans alike that there’s always something new to learn.

John Copulos, thanks for having the vision to do this group. It might never be perfect, but, it is an excellent idea. Finally we have a place to gather and share our thoughts across the spectrum in real estate. I applaud the effort greatly. This (group) is impacting our profession in an amazing way. I do not know you, but if we ever meet in person, I will give you a big bear hug, buy you a beer or coffee and smile at your wonderful effort. Shine on my friend!

Craig J. | Chief Appraiser at Julian Appraisal Group

I am so excited to have found this. I strive to put myself in the appraiser's shoes every time I need to evaluate a property. Every situation is different, and I have tremendous respect for the craft. I can't wait to learn how to be a better real estate agent through Ask The Appraiser.

David B. | President of Agent Operations at simpliHŌM

Just a quick shout out to John Copulos and a big thank you for not only starting this group, but making it a positive place to learn! Of all the real estate information groups I'm in, this is the most informative and helpful. It's my favorite group!

    Kat B. | Realtor at Century 21

As a homebuyer and not an appraiser, I wasn't sure if I would get honest answers. I needed  very complex guidance on a stressful situation. I am grateful for (ambassador appraisers) David L. & Joe M. They...just literally went above and beyond for a complete stranger.

    Anon. Homebuyer

This group is amazing. I have asked all my sponsored realtors to gain insight from this group. I am a broker and owner with over 20 years of real estate experience.
